Message from the PTG President:
Dear West Siders,
Everyone is looking forward to tomorrow night’s West Side Talent Show! The kids have worked so hard and are all excited to show off their various talents. The ice cream social will immediately follow the show. Free ice cream and toppings for all will be served at the HS cafeteria.
Thank you to all those who attended our PTG Thank you breakfast. We were able to thank many of you personally. For those who couldn’t attend, you were missed. Without our parent participation, West Side School would not be the same.
We are happy to announce our WSS-PTG slate for 2016-2017.

I am excited to learn from and work with yet another wonderful group of West Side parents. Thank you for volunteering your time.
Please mark your calendars with all of the wonderful events coming up in May and June. It’s an exciting time of year! Enjoy your weekend.
The Talent Show is on Saturday, May 14th at 7pm at the High School in the PAC. Performers need to get there no later than 6:15. Please have your child sign in with Mrs. Albers when they arrive. There will be a roped off area in the front of the auditorium for “performer seating only.” A school aide will assist in seating the performers. Doors to the PAC will NOT open until 6:45.
Whether you’re in the show or just there to support your classmates, it’s going to be a most memorable night. The show is free and so is the ice cream social immediately following the show in the high school cafeteria. We have a wonderful line up and I thank all of you who volunteered to help out. West Side’s Talent 2016 will be our Hollywood’s Oscar Night!
WEST SIDE RUN 2016- Sunday, May 22nd!! Please continue to send in your family sponsorships and run registrations. There will be a FREE Pasta Dinner so Pre-registered runners can pick up t-shirts and race numbers on Saturday, May 21st between 6:00-8:00 pm. Please make an effort to pick up your t-shirts and numbers on Saturday the 21st to avoid those long lines on the day of the race. Volunteers are needed to donate race day muffins, baked goods and water as well as route barricades. Please contact Cat Bauer: firstname.lastname@example.org

Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you’ve got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we’d like to see them. Our photographers can’t be everywhere. ATTN: ALL 6TH GRADE FAMILIES: Mark your calendars!! Monday, June 20th @10am is the 6th grade graduation ceremony at the PAC. Following the ceremony will be the Graduation Party being held at the Harbor Club at Prime from 12-3pm! The Punchbowl invite for the 6th grade graduation party will be going out soon. Please look out for it and send in your responses and your checks as soon as possible so we can have an accurate head count for the venue.
