Message from the PTG President:

Dear West Siders,
We hope you all enjoyed the break with your families. West Side has many fun events on the calendar before the school year ends. Our Sports/Game night is this coming Sunday. Please RSVP to the evite sent so we can order food accordingly. Our annual talent show, field day BBQ, West Side Run and the Camp out are just a few of the wonderful events still to come.
This school year is quickly coming to an end and we will hold our final two PTG meetings on April 12th and May 10th. At our April meeting, our art teacher Ms. McLaughlin will show us some of the creative art projects the children have been working on, as well as the exciting projects created with the 3D printer. In May we will have our Superintendent Judith Wilansky speak with us about the upcoming budget vote. We hope to see many West Side parents at these final two meetings of the year.
We are looking for volunteers to serve on the PTG board next year and we truly hope you would consider joining us. As always, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to any one of the board members.

WSS Sports/Game Night- Calling all Dads! Calling all Dads!
Please join us on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at 5:30pm for a fun Sports/Game night at Westside School. It’s sure to be a great event.
We will have dinner, bingo, raffles, music and games. This event is for Dads and their children. If Dad cannot attend, a grandfather, uncle or any other male figure in your child’s life is also welcome!

Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you’ve got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we’d like to see them. Our photographers can’t be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.

Here is how you can submit photos online:

• If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username: 403103590
• Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
• Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.

SEPTA (Special Education Parent Teacher Association) meeting will be held this Friday, April 1st @ 9:30 AM in the district office board room. All are welcome to attend.
