A huge thank you to Susan Goldstein and Kim Testa for chairing Ice Skate Night last Sunday! We had a great turnout and everyone had fun during this special family event.We would also like to thank all those parents who attended our PTG meeting this week. We hope your questions about the upcoming NYS tests were answered and if not, please remember to reach out to Mr. Simon if you still have questions.

Ice Skate Night Thank You!-Thank you to all who helped putting together ice skating night for the Westside Families, especially: Kathleen Milana, Susan Goldstein, Jenean Ketterer, Tamara Ross, Maryann Lombardo, Ana Shammah, Lorena Munyak and Kim Testa. The event would not have been as successful without your support, time and effort. We greatly appreciate all you have done in making this event so special.

WSS Sports/Game Night- Calling all Dads! Calling all Dads!
Please join us on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at 5:30pm for a fun Sports/Game night at Westside School. It’s sure to be a great event.
We will have dinner, bingo, raffles, music and games. This event is for Dads and their children. If Dad cannot attend, a grandfather, uncle or any other male figure in your child’s life is also welcome!

West Side Kids Care: A big thank you to all of the families who donated food and parents and students who helped assemble over 40 breakfasts and lunches for the homeless.
Recess Volunteers: If you would like to volunteer at recess during the 2015/2016 school year, please contact Lauren Jasinski at WestSideRecess@gmail.com, if you have not added your name to the Recess Committee sign-up sheet already.

Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you’ve got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we’d like to see them. Our photographers can’t be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.
Here is how you can submit photos online:

• Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
• Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.
