Dear West Siders,
Please mark your calendars and we hope you attend our 1st PTG meeting of the New Year being held on Jan. 9th @9:30am at the WS Community Room. Our superintendent Mr. Fenter and our Athletics director Mr. Bongino will speak with us about the new proposed Athletic Center at the CSHHS. There will be a vote for this athletic center on Jan. 18th, so please attend this important meeting. We will also discuss the exciting events and announce some nice surprises we have planned for 2017. We hope to have a standing room only for the New Year!

West Side Kids Care-Thank you to all the West Side families who graciously donated to our annual holiday toy drive benefitting the Helping Hands Rescue Mission. We were overwhelmed by the generosity resulting in two SUV’s filled with gifts, warm hats, and gloves helping local children.
Thank you to Liz Franklin, Christine Masata, Barbara Callaghan, Julie Starrett, Maria Rosato, Jordan Smith and Lauren Jasinski for helping the children wrap the gifts at recess on December 16th.
The entire West Side Staff thanks you all for the gift cards they received this week. Everyone received a gift card thanks to the generosity of all the West Side families!

Yearbook:Get your pictures in the yearbook!-The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you’ve got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we’d like to see them. Our photographers can’t be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.
Here is how you can submit photos online:
• Go to: https://images.memoryebooks.com/login
• If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username: 406403601
• Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
• Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.
• Click “Save Details”.
It’s that easy! Submit your photos today! The last day to submit photos is 04/15/2017.
