MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE SAVE THE DATE-
Please save the date for our annual WS Holiday Boutique. This year, the children will be shopping with their classes on December 2 and 3 during school hours. A schedule of when each class will shop will be emailed and sent home via backpack in a few weeks. We are looking for volunteers on December 1 to help set up the displays, on December 2 and 3 to help the children shop and on December 3 to help break down the event. If you signed up already, an email will be sent for you to pick time frames. To volunteer, please contact Edra Tepper edratepper@verizon.net
West Side Annual Cookie Bake
Our annual cookie bake is Wednesday December 9th. On this day we collect cookies, bars and other holiday treats from parents who are interested in donating and create beautiful cookie platters for the teachers and staff in our school. The type of cookie is up to you although we try to limit the chocolate chip. (vanilla, butterscotch toffee, pretzels etc are other delicious choices )We are asking for 3-6 dozen. This year we will be assembling at least 57 platters. Not a baker? Bakery items are welcomed! We seem to be low on volunteers this year and your help would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to stay and help assemble and deliver please email me. This usually takes about an hour.
Cookies should be dropped off to the community room Wednesday morning between 8:00 am and 10:00 am on disposable platters/boxes. Please consider being a part of this wonderful West Side tradition. The staff looks forward to it every year and is a wonderful way to thank our teachers and staff for all they do for our children. Any questions please email me at spartangirl300@gmail.com with COOKIE BAKE in subject.
Thank you in advance. HAPPY BAKING!!!- Gina Marino
